Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Porcelain Pagoda by Dustin Yellin was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in December 2017. The price achieved of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,159.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dustin Yellin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Psychogeography Study #9 (Empathy & Entropy) in January 2021 with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 124,598.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Porcelain Pagoda von Dustin Yellin kam im Dezember 2017 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.159,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dustin Yellin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Psychogeography Study #9 (Empathy & Entropy) im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 124.598,27).
