Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Food lover I by Edgar Plans was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,000,000 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,071,000 (€ 164,553). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Edgar Plans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Colors, which sold at auction in March this year for CNY 4,410,000 (€ 626,933).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Food lover I von Edgar Plans kam im November diesen Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.000.000 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.071.000 (€ 164.553) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Edgar Plans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Colors beobachtet, die im März diesen Jahres für CNY 4.410.000 (€ 626.933) versteigert wurde.
