Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Christies in New York held the auction First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online, which included the work I Would Like To Be by Edgar Plans. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 13,860.00 (€ 15,768.43), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edgar Plans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Juanín in April this year with an auction result of HKD 840,000.00 (€ 857,804.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Would Like To Be von Edgar Plans zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 13.860,00 (€ 15.768,43) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edgar Plans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Juanín im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 840.000,00 (€ 857.804,35).
