The price achieved of USD 860,000.00 (€ 771,369.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 700,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Édouard Manet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Grand Canal à Venise in November last year with an auction result of USD 51,915,000.00 (€ 50,290,613.19).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 860.000,00 (€ 771.369,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 700.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden.
