It achieved a price of GBP 146,500.00 (€ 170,991.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 63%. Admittedly, works by Emil Filla have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Czech seated Woman in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 729,000.00 (€ 827,523.45).

Die Arbeit Still Life With Dead Bird von Emil Filla kam im Juni 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 146.500,00 (€ 170.991,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 63%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emil Filla auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Czech seated Woman im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 729.000,00 (€ 827.523,45).
