Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Freundinnen by Emil Nolde was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale auction at Christies in London in June this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 23,940.00 (€ 27,862.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emil Nolde achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Herbstmeer XVI in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 7,344,500.00 (€ 6,305,915.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Freundinnen von Emil Nolde wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 23.940,00 (€ 27.862,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emil Nolde erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Herbstmeer XVI im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.344.500,00 (€ 6.305.915,69).
