A top price for Erika Giovanna Klien - as previously expected
The work Lokomotive (Locomotive) by Erika Giovanna Klien was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500,000.00 – 700,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 545,000.00 (€ 768,443.16) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Lokomotive (Locomotive) is the most expensive artwork by Erika Giovanna Klien that we have observed at auctions so far.
