Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mujer Sentada En Una Silla by Francisco Zúñiga was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,820.00 (€ 7,381.99). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Zúñiga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grupo de cuatro mujeres de pie in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 3,127,500.00 (€ 2,783,463.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mujer Sentada En Una Silla von Francisco Zúñiga wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.820,00 (€ 7.381,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Zúñiga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grupo de cuatro mujeres de pie im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.127.500,00 (€ 2.783.463,87).
