Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work U.S.A Surpasses All the Genocide Records by George Maciunas for USD 625.00 (€ 561.55). This price was achieved in the auction Phillips x Artsy Summer School at Phillips in an online auction and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Maciunas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fluxkit in September 2011 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 77,700.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit U.S.A Surpasses All the Genocide Records von George Maciunas für USD 625,00 (€ 561,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Phillips x Artsy Summer School bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George Maciunas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fluxkit im September 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 77.700,94).
