Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Le Renouveau by George Morren for USD 662,500.00 (€ 460,837.51). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 700,000.00 – 900,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by George Morren have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2018 by the work À L'Harmonie (Jardin Public) at USD 915,000.00 (€ 784,061.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Le Renouveau von George Morren für USD 662.500,00 (€ 460.837,51) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Evening Sale bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 700.000,00 – 900.000,00.
