Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Ogre by Germaine Richier was auctioned at Christies in Paris in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of EUR 337,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Admittedly, works by Germaine Richier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Tauromachie in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 3,086,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Ogre von Germaine Richier kam im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 337.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 250.000,00 – 350.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Germaine Richier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Tauromachie im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 3.086.400,00.
