In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work La città che avanza sold for EUR 52,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 28,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Balla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Automobile In Corsa in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 11,477,000.00 (€ 8,435,249.15).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Giacomo Balla erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Il Ponte einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit La città che avanza für EUR 52.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 28.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Balla erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Automobile In Corsa im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.477.000,00 (€ 8.435.249,15).
