The work Phoque by Gilles Aillaud was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2015. The result of EUR 15,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gilles Aillaud achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande mer bleue in October 2021 with an auction result of EUR 200,000.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Phoque von Gilles Aillaud kam im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 15.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gilles Aillaud erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande mer bleue im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 200.000,00.
