In the Bette Davis Eyes and Other Natural Phenomena: Photographs at No Reserve auction, the work Fireworks changed hands for USD 1,638.00 (€ 1,380.65) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gordon Coster have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bicycle Racer in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,066.89).
