This artwork by Jadé Fadojutimi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March last year. In the 20th/21st Century: London Evening Sale auction, the work Acquainted Intruder sold for GBP 942,000.00 (€ 1,116,847.02) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Jadé Fadojutimi; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Myths of Pleasure sold at auction in October 2021 with the realized price of GBP 1,172,000.00 (€ 1,388,503.46).
