A top price for Jessica Rankin - as previously expected
The work Two Sides of Alive by Jessica Rankin was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 9,450.00 (€ 11,195.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Two Sides of Alive is the most expensive artwork by Jessica Rankin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Two Sides of Alive von Jessica Rankin wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 9.450,00 (€ 11.195,70) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Two Sides of Alive das teuerste Kunstwerk von Jessica Rankin, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
