Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stardust Hermit (A Set Of 4 Works) (I) Untitled (Ii) Young Pioneers (Iii) The Memory Of North Liucao Island I (Iv) Hermit From The Planet by Jia Aili was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,611.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jia Aili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Combustion in November this year with an auction result of USD 4,769,000.00 (€ 4,372,020.54).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.611,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jia Aili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Combustion im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.769.000,00 (€ 4.372.020,54).
