Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Dessin pour Ubu Roi by Joan Miró was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper Sale auction at Christies in New York in November 2017. Here, the upper estimate of USD 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 75,000.00 (€ 63,035.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Dessin pour Ubu Roi von Joan Miró wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 75.000,00 (€ 63.035,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
