Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work Tête by Joan Miró for USD 120,000.00 (€ 97,173.86). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art (Day Sale) at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 140,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Miró achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Peinture (Étoile Bleue) in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,561,250.00 (€ 29,174,436.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2005 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Tête von Joan Miró für USD 120.000,00 (€ 97.173,86) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 140.000,00 – 180.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Miró erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Peinture (Étoile Bleue) im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.561.250,00 (€ 29.174.436,97).
