Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 501.90 (€ 753.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by John Mulcaster Carrick have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishermen off a rocky coastline, Italy; and The Italian Riveria in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,247.26).
