Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chico by Jonas Wood was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 1,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 1,260,000.00 (€ 156,355.71). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonas Wood achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Tables With Floral Pattern in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 6,510,000.00 (€ 5,338,691.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chico von Jonas Wood kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 1.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 1.260.000,00 (€ 156.355,71) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jonas Wood erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Tables With Floral Pattern im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.510.000,00 (€ 5.338.691,16).
