Admittedly, works by José de Togores have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish Deux Personnages in November 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 47,147.85).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von NLG 15.212,60 (€ 6.491,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 69%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José de Togores auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spanish Deux Personnages im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 47.147,85).
