It achieved a price of GBP 1,880.00 (€ 2,662.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 57%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Plattner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Il Reggiseno Bianco in November 2009 with an auction result of EUR 39,150.00.

Die Arbeit Zwei Figuren von Karl Plattner wurde im Dezember 2003 in der Auktion IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN AND POST-WAR ART SALE bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.880,00 (€ 2.662,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Plattner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Il Reggiseno Bianco im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.150,00.
