Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th Century EuropeanArt, which included the work A Beauty In A Boudoir by Ladislaus Bakalowicz. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 7,450.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ladislaus Bakalowicz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Polish a Flower Market At La Madeleine, Paris in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 422,500.00 (€ 324,102.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th Century EuropeanArt durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Beauty In A Boudoir von Ladislaus Bakalowicz zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 7.450,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ladislaus Bakalowicz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Polish a Flower Market At La Madeleine, Paris im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 422.500,00 (€ 324.102,49).
