Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hearring (Parkett 49) by Laurie Anderson was sold in the Parkett: First Fifty Editions 1984-1997 auction at Christies in London in September 2013. It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 896.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Laurie Anderson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dream Book in October 2018 with an auction result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,412.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hearring (Parkett 49) von Laurie Anderson wurde im September 2013 in der Auktion Parkett: First Fifty Editions 1984-1997 bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 896,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Laurie Anderson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dream Book im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.412,28).
