The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,657.36), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Leonard Rosoman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Figures in a curved street, Florence in May last year with an auction result of GBP 15,750.00 (€ 18,528.38).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.657,36) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Leonard Rosoman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Figures in a curved street, Florence im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.750,00 (€ 18.528,38).
