In April this year Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Sasha and Ruby, 2005 by Loretta Lux. The »bidding war« ended at USD 6,930.00 (€ 6,277.17), 39% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Loretta Lux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marianne in November 2005 with an auction result of USD 45,600.00 (€ 38,676.84).

Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sasha and Ruby, 2005 von Loretta Lux zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 6.930,00 (€ 6.277,17) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Loretta Lux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marianne im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.600,00 (€ 38.676,84).
