The work Mujer Con Abanico III by Manolo Valdés was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 201,600.00 (€ 238,841.55), 34% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manolo Valdés - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Infanta Margarita, which sold at auction in February 2011 for GBP 457,250.00 (€ 538,602.24).

Die Arbeit Mujer Con Abanico III von Manolo Valdés wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 201.600,00 (€ 238.841,55) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Manolo Valdés mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Infanta Margarita beobachtet, die im Februar 2011 für GBP 457.250,00 (€ 538.602,24) versteigert wurde.
