Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Il giocoliere by Marino Marini was auctioned at Christies in London in June this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 289,800.00 (€ 337,277.31) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marino Marini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Idea Del Cavaliere in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 7,040,000.00 (€ 5,233,033.52).

Die Arbeit Il giocoliere von Marino Marini kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 289.800,00 (€ 337.277,31) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marino Marini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Idea Del Cavaliere im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 7.040.000,00 (€ 5.233.033,52).
