This artwork by Mark Tobey achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in Cologne in January 2021. In the Prints and Editions | ONLINE ONLY auction, the work Ohne Titel sold for EUR 1,032.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mark Tobey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autumnal Fire in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 1,389,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mark Tobey erzielte im Januar 2021 bei VAN HAM in Köln einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints and Editions | ONLINE ONLY wurde die Arbeit Ohne Titel für EUR 1.032,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mark Tobey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autumnal Fire im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.389.000,00.
