Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Vincennes by Martin Bradley. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,611.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Bradley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abstract in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 16,875.00 (€ 19,366.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vincennes von Martin Bradley zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.611,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Bradley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abstract im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.875,00 (€ 19.366,59).
