Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2017 Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work Mela Verde e Zucchero by Matteo Negri. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,878.02), 16% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Matteo Negri - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Andante Cantabile Con Moto, which sold at auction in April 2015 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 27,464.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mela Verde e Zucchero von Matteo Negri zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.878,02) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Matteo Negri mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Andante Cantabile Con Moto beobachtet, die im April 2015 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 27.464,61) versteigert wurde.
