Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Les Figues by Maurice Brianchon for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,476.28). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maurice Brianchon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Digue de Saint-Jean-De-Luz in May 2006 with an auction result of EUR 165,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Les Figues von Maurice Brianchon für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.476,28) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maurice Brianchon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Digue de Saint-Jean-De-Luz im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 165.600,00.
