Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Avenue De Versailles Et La Tour Eiffel by Maurice Utrillo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 112,500.00 (€ 94,553.71) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Maurice Utrillo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 in November 2010 with an auction result of EUR 835,540.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Avenue De Versailles Et La Tour Eiffel von Maurice Utrillo kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 94.553,71) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice Utrillo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Paravent De Maurice Utrillo, 1939 im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 835.540,00.
