Auction result well in line with expectations
In December last year Christies in Paris held the auction Art contemporain, which included the work Pieno di vuoto by Minjung Kim. It changed hands for a price of EUR 32,760.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Minjung Kim have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vuoto nel Pieno in November last year with an auction result of USD 189,000.00 (€ 183,086.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art contemporain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pieno di vuoto von Minjung Kim zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 32.760,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Minjung Kim auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vuoto nel Pieno im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 189.000,00 (€ 183.086,31).
