Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mr. was auctioned at Phillips in Hong Kong in November last year. The price achieved of HKD 239,400.00 (€ 29,707.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 4,560,000.00 (€ 4,656,652.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mr. kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 239.400,00 (€ 29.707,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.560.000,00 (€ 4.656.652,17).
