Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,411.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Odilon Redon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Pavot Noir in October last year with an auction result of USD 3,780,000.00 (€ 3,805,113.75).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.411,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Odilon Redon erzielen.
