Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Masque D'Homme by Pablo Gargallo for EUR 137,500.00. This price was achieved in the auction Modernités at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 140,000.00 – 180,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pablo Gargallo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Masque D'Arlequin Souriant Iii, 1927, which sold at auction in October 2007 for EUR 490,896.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Masque D'Homme von Pablo Gargallo für EUR 137.500,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modernités bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 140.000,00 – 180.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pablo Gargallo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Masque D'Arlequin Souriant Iii, 1927 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für EUR 490.896,00 versteigert wurde.
