It achieved a price of GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,450.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Patrick Hayman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Fisherman, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,527.45).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.450,16) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Für andere Arbeiten von Patrick Hayman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Fisherman beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.527,45) versteigert wurde.
