Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Stilleben Mit Der Distelblüte (Recto); Ohne Titel (Verso) by Paul Klee was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2019. The price achieved of USD 1,815,000.00 (€ 1,627,948.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500,000.00 – 2,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Klee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bunte Landschaft, which sold at auction in November last year for USD 4,860,000.00 (€ 4,707,933.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Stilleben Mit Der Distelblüte (Recto); Ohne Titel (Verso) von Paul Klee kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.815.000,00 (€ 1.627.948,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500.000,00 – 2.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Klee mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bunte Landschaft beobachtet, die im November letzten Jahres für USD 4.860.000,00 (€ 4.707.933,74) versteigert wurde.
