Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deux Bretonnes Au Bord De L'Aulne - Vallée De L'Aulne by Paul Sérusier was auctioned at Sothebys in London in February 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 144,875.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Sérusier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Filles aux grands sables in November last year with an auction result of USD 1,740,000.00 (€ 1,685,556.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Deux Bretonnes Au Bord De L'Aulne - Vallée De L'Aulne von Paul Sérusier kam im Februar 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 144.875,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Sérusier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Filles aux grands sables im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.740.000,00 (€ 1.685.556,52).
