Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included this untitled work by Peter Schuyff. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,500.00 (€ 27,676.06) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Peter Schuyff have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2017 the work without title was auctioned for USD 56,250.00 (€ 47,564.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Peter Schuyff zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 27.676,06) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Peter Schuyff konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2017 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 56.250,00 (€ 47.564,69) versteigert.
