Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birken im Neuen Garten, Vorfrühling by Philipp Franck was sold in the Impressionist/Modern & Picasso Ceramics auction at Christies in London in February 2015. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 13,788.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philipp Franck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „Die Wannseebrücke“. in June 2021 with an auction result of EUR 92,500.00.

Die Arbeit Birken im Neuen Garten, Vorfrühling von Philipp Franck wurde im Februar 2015 in der Auktion Impressionist/Modern & Picasso Ceramics bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 13.788,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philipp Franck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „Die Wannseebrücke“. im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 92.500,00.
