Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2007 Christies in Paris held the auction Arts de l'Orient et des Indes du XIème au XXIème siècle Provenant d'une collection française, which included the work Sans titre by Pierre Tal Coat. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,320.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Tal Coat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 19,450.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2007 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Arts de l'Orient et des Indes du XIème au XXIème siècle Provenant d'une collection française durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre von Pierre Tal Coat zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.320,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Tal Coat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.450,00.
