Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Unknown by Pierre Tal Coat was auctioned at Artcurial in April 2017. The price achieved of EUR 1,300.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Tal Coat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 19,450.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Unknown von Pierre Tal Coat kam im April 2017 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.300,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Tal Coat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.450,00.
