A top price for Pierre Tal Coat
In May 2008 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Composition by Pierre Tal Coat. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 19,450.00 30% above the upper estimate. With this result, Composition is even the most expensive work of art by Pierre Tal Coat that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2008 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition von Pierre Tal Coat zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 19.450,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Composition sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Pierre Tal Coat, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
