This artwork by Pierre Tal Coat achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in April 2007. In the Contemporary Art 2 auction, the work Sans Titre sold for EUR 740.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Tal Coat achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 19,450.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 85 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pierre Tal Coat erzielte im April 2007 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre für EUR 740,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Tal Coat erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.450,00.
