The auction ended at the price of EUR 4,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pierre Tal Coat have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Composition in May 2008 with an auction result of EUR 19,450.00.

Die Arbeit Sans titre von Pierre Tal Coat kam im Mai 2008 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 4.000,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Tal Coat auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Composition im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.450,00.
