Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Léda et le cygne by Raoul Dufy. The price achieved of GBP 5,040.00 (€ 5,865.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Dufy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Regattes À Trouville in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,505,000.00 (€ 2,075,171.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Léda et le cygne von Raoul Dufy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.040,00 (€ 5.865,69) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Dufy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Regattes À Trouville im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.505.000,00 (€ 2.075.171,47).
