Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Saffa by Raymond Hains was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June 2019. It achieved a price of EUR 17,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raymond Hains achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre, 1967 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 334,584.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Saffa von Raymond Hains kam im Juni 2019 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 17.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raymond Hains erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1967 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 334.584,00.
